A Church Built on Faith
In July 2021, by God's grace and the faithful giving of our community, we inaugurated our own church building — a permanent home for worship, prayer, and fellowship in the heart of the Bronx.
What began as a small gathering has grown into a vibrant family of believers. Our building stands as a testimony of God's faithfulness and a welcoming sanctuary for all who seek Him.

Rev. Prince Odei is the head pastor and founder of Great Commission Assembly of God (GCAG) headquartered in Bronx, New York. He is happily married to his beautiful wife, Mrs. Debora A. Nyarko, for 30 plus years of marriage, and together they have 6 lovely children.
Rev. Prince is a preacher, teacher, and mentor who loves to spread the love and care of God to the world. After moving from Ghana to the United States in 1996, he came to reside in the Bronx, NY, where he attended Van Nest Assembly of God under Rev. David Hernquist. There, he led the praise and worship team and the Friday all-night prayer service.
In 2009, Rev. Prince joined United Bethel Pentecostal Ministry under Rev. Cookie Boakye, greatly assisting church leadership. In 2013, he was appointed as resident pastor to oversee the New York branch of Inner Life Chapel International under Bishop Joseph A. Quist.
Led by the Holy Spirit, Rev. Prince attended Berean School of the Bible under Global University, attaining all three ministerial levels: certification, licensure, and ordination. He has also been licensed by the General Council of the Assemblies of God.
Passionate about healing people and winning souls for Christ, Rev. Prince — along with his wife, family, and trusted leaders — founded Great Commission Assembly of God to spread the good news of the Gospel. He now leads Sunday Service at 10:00 AM and Prayer Services on Wednesdays & Fridays at 8:00 PM.
